Whether it be a call for compliant and ethical business practices, the latest company to be issued fines, or new regulations, compliance is no longer an afterthought. As the field continues to gain traction, many interested parties are now left with some questions.

In this session, Jared will tackle those three questions and give insight into what he wishes he would have known when he first began my compliance job search. Jared will give insight and tips into how he has grown his career in a niche, and how now is the time for bold and creative thinkers within the compliance function.
Jared was born and raised in a small town in Central Indiana. He attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana earning his bachelor’s degree in 2011. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Hamline University School of Law, where he focused on Healthcare Compliance. Over the past six years he has held various positions in Export Compliance and Sanctions, specifically within the Aerospace and Defense Sectors. He is currently licensed to practice law in Texas.
Outside of work he enjoys movies, biking, basketball, writing, and a lot of coffee.
