Community Guidelines

Welcome to the MentorCore community. We expect everyone to be honest, kind and respectful to each other, anything less than transparency and integrity will not be tolerated. Our goal is to allow users to connect with each other and support each others career journey in a diverse and inclusive environment where differences are celebrated and supported. We’re asking you to be considerate, think before you act, and abide by our community guidelines both on and offline. Your online and offline behavior can lead to termination of your account if you do not comply with the community standards. 

Below is a list of our community policies. If you violate any of these policies, you might be banned from our platform. We encourage you to report any behavior that violates our policies, and review our online Safety Tips.

The MentorCore Community expects you to:

Upload only your own photos and content

We expect you to respect copyright and intellectual property. If you don’t own the rights to a posting, don’t post it. 

Respect everyone

We’re a very diverse community. This means you should respect other people’s beliefs, interests and property while on RockerFuel. We will not tolerate hate speech, rude or abusive behavior, or bullying of any type. We expect a speak-up culture where inappropriate behavior is reported. As a community rooted in kindness and respect, we expect all of our users to respect each other, themselves, and the MentorCore team.

Be yourself; be authentic; make real connections

Copying and pasting the same message to every connection is frowned upon and shows a lack of effort. Take the time to read profiles, learn about other people’s interests, and send an appropriate, relevant messages. Mentoring isn’t a numbers game.

Also, being yourself mean giving real information and going through verification on your own skills, experiences and merits. Do not impersonate, or otherwise misrepresent affiliation, connection or association with, any person or entity. This includes parody accounts.

MentorCore photo guidelines:

  • Keep it corporate professional- from the shoulders up.
  • Don’t include any text on your photo.
  • Don’t include contact information or sales information.
  • No kids (under 18) – ever.
  • No photos in bikinis/swimwear.
  • No pictures in underwear.
  • No Shirtless/underwear Mirror Selfies.
  • Face must be clearly visible in all photos.
  • No watermarks or text overlaid.
  • No pornographic material.
  • No graphic hunting photos.
  • No guns.

The MentorCore team has ultimate decision making authority about appropriateness of any submitted photo.

Keep information private

Don’t publicly broadcast any private information, yours or anyone else’s. This includes social security numbers, passports, passwords, financial information or unlisted contact information, such as phone numbers, email addresses, home/work address. We have a zero-tolerance policy on predatory behavior of any kind. Anyone attempting to get other users’ private information for fraudulent or illegal activity will be banned.

Don’t do anything illegal on our site- ever

Illegal activity will not be tolerated at MentorCore. This may result in being banned from the site, and/or being reported to the authorities.

Don’t engage in any behavior that would be prohibited in the workplace.

Do not engage, or encourage others to engage, in any targeted abuse or harassment against any other user. Don’t portray violence or incite violence. NEVER send any sexual content to your matches. Reports of stalking, threats, bullying, or intimidation, are taken very seriously. Keep it clean.

No soliciting

MentorCore isn’t for selling things to members on the site. If your profile was created to advertise your event or business, non-profit, political campaign, contest, or to conduct research, we may delete your account. If you try to use it as a marketplace, you’ll be banned. 

Account Dormancy

If you are not active in the community, you can’t be part of this amazing revolution in mentoring. So, if you don’t log in to your account in 24 months, we may delete your account for inactivity.

If you don’t follow these guidelines, you’ll receive a warning (unless our team decides to block without warning at our discretion). If you ignore this warning, you risk losing your account. These guidelines are designed to make MentorCore a nurturing and safe place for all our users.

Report all Bad Behaviour:

If need be, contact local law enforcement, then contact MentorCore via email at info @ mentorcore.biz with the subject heading Community Guidelines Issue.

MentorCore reserves the right to investigate and/or terminate your account without a refund of any purchases if you have misused the Service or behaved in a way that MentorCore in its sole discretion regards as inappropriate, unlawful, or in violation of the Terms of Use, including actions or communications that occur off the Service but involve users you meet through the Service.
