About this Event
Join us as we hear Richard Bistrong’s journey from a high-flying international sales executive that led him all over the world to being targeted and indicted by regulators in the US and UK for violation of anti-bribery and trade laws. Richard then had fourteen and a half months in prison to think about rebuilding and restarting his life and career, returning home from prison in December 2013. But what happened from there is fascinating, as Richard is now a sought after speaker, giving keynotes and workshops to multinationals on a global basis. So, how did he make such a pivotal change in his life and work? Was it a linear path, or did it have peeks and valleys? Was it a well thought out strategy, or did it happen organically, and almost accidentally? And what can we learn from his experience in our own career development and decisions? This is going to be an “ask Richard” session, as he will share his journey, but looks forward to hearing about yours! This is going to be a session about how to influence and inspire, and what mentors inspired and influenced Richard in his life!
